In Memory of George Kitsios
Donation protected
George Kitsios was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Friend to us all. He was born in Greece and worked hard to support his family early in his life and was a pillar of his community. He left Greece with his wife and his children seeking the American Dream. He devoted his life to feeding people and and opened several restaurants . He touched the lives of so many and always showed his love through food, laughter, and dance.
Two years ago, George was diagnosed with lung cancer. Following surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, he was given a brief remission before the cancer returned. Despite the struggle of living with cancer, George remained in good spirits, always generous and quick to share a meal and a laugh. His finals days were spent surrounded by many family and friends, a testament to the lives he has touched.
His passing is a great loss not only to his family but to everyone who was fortunate enough to have met him. He will be dearly missed and we ask that everyone take a moment to remember how he has touched your lives.
We also ask that, instead of flowers, anyone who would like to contribute, please donate what you can to help pay for some of the medical, funeral and burial costs. All donations will go to his wife, Kathy. We have set a modest goal but this sum does not come near to covering the full cost so if we are fortunate to have met our goal already, please continue to donate if you wish.
