It is with a heavy heart that I write these words.

Last night,  March 27, 2019, our beautiful Gabriella Grace left us and entered heaven where we know she is doing all the things she couldn’t do here on earth - running freely,  using her hands to play and eat and talking up a storm with Poppy and anyone else who will listen.  

In her 9 short years here with all of us, Gabriella faced so many challenges in her life but always had this beautiful smile on her face which was contagious. Anyone who met her grew to love her.  She could make your worst day feel irrelevant.   

Most of you know Gabriella’s story and understand her life with Rett, but not everyone truly knows how our sister Ellen, a single Mom, has worked relentlessly to fight for her to live the most amazing life she could. Gabriella was so happy because of the  life Ellen gave her. Ellen is an amazing mom to her and Bella, Gabriella’s sister. 

So since many of you have been asking how you can help, we decided to put this page up so that you can all help Ellen and Bella give Gabriella a beautiful send off - assistance to cover funeral and memorial expenses and to present a donation to Rett Research in her name. 

Please share pictures and stories here about our angel and pray for Ellen, Bella and the rest of the family.

I, Liz Olinto, Ellen’s sister, Gabriella’s aunt, will be responsible for withdrawing and allocating all the funds properly to cover the costs associated with the funeral and memorial services as well as an appropriate donation to Rett research.
