In Memory of G. Ramona Pierce

Ramona Pierce lived life on her own terms. She was the mother of three, grandmother of twelve, great-grandmother to thirty-three, and bonus Mimi to an untold number. She was a friend to many. Active in her church and community, Ramona donated to various organizations through her life. Among other attributes, she was known for her cooking and baking talents. I'll remember her for her sass, her laugh, and her unending love. Miss Ramona passed suddenly in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 17th. In her passing, we are struggling to make arrangements for family members to pay their final respects. We are asking for donations in lieu of flowers to help cover costs of transportation and lodging for her children and grandchildren traveling to Pennsylvania. Any funding in excess of what is needed will be donated to the United Negro College Fund in Ramona's name.
