In Memory of Freddy Perez ❤️
Hello All,
This campaign was made in honor of I and my family’s father, Freddy Perez. He was 56 yrs old at the time of his passing yesterday, Sept. 18th.
2 years ago had endured open heart surgery. The prognosis was great and he lived a good 2 years, trying to turn over a new leaf and make amends with people/family. We all believed he was on the road to recovery and being able to live out the rest of his life. On Tuesday, the 15th, Freddy was admitted to the hospital for low blood pressure. He was conscious and healthy besides that going in, just weak. He had been dealing with low blood pressure for months by the time he was admitted. His physical therapist, his dialysis and check-up doctors, and in home nurse all were aware of his low blood pressure for AWHILE yet nothing was done about it. No medications were prescribed, and everyone brushed it off. My Dad’s health issues were literally cast aside. Thursday night Sept. 17th, Freddy Perez, our dad, was rushed to ICU because his heartbeat had slowed down drastically — his heart was barely beating when he had arrived at ICU, and the doctors there were appalled at the fact that my dad had not received any meds to help the situation in almost a year.
The doctors in the ICU unit dosed him with blood pressure medicine but at that time, it was already too late. His heart was not beating fast enough to keep him going. Our father passed away at 3 pm, on Sept. 18. as I and many others raced to make it down to Florida before it was too late.
Our Father was a wonderful man, but unfortunately due to malpractice of his medical team, he passed away yesterday afternoon before I could fly down to be with him. My family and I are DEVASTATED at his sudden death. We now have to pay for his funeral services, while we are also struggling financially with his medical bills from his open heart surgery (which occurred while he had no insurance) along with his medical bills from his short stay in the hospital. We are also opening an investigation into the malpractice of his team, which will also cost a pretty penny.
All donations will be used toward his funeral service, his med. bills and now for an ongoing lwsuit. Anything helps, and if you can’t donate please share this campaign.
We want justice for our father, who was taken away from us too soon.
Thank you,
The Perez Family.
