In memory of Fransua

Hello,

My name is Nefthaly, and I am a friend of Blanca, Fransua and their daughter Melisa. Fransua tragically passed away this past Saturday 8/5/23. The family enjoyed nature and exploring Oregon and Washington. This past weekend they went to a river in Vancouver. While their daughter played in the water she started experiencing difficulty in her swim and started yelling for help. With no hesitation, Fransua and Blanca ran into the river to save their child even though they both didn't know how to swim. Thankfully Melisa was wearing a lifejacket and was saved by them both. Unfortunately, Fransua did not make it. Fransua was a hard worker who worked 2 jobs and loved Blanca and Melisa who was his stepdaughter. I am hoping we can help support the family while they are in this transition and the grief that comes with it. Any donations will be used by the family to help supplement the income Fransua provided to their household and whatever needs Blanca may have moving forward.

Mi nombre es Nefthaly, y yo soy amiga de Blanca, Fransua y su hija Melisa. Fransua trágicamente falleció este pasado sábado 8/5/2023. La familia disfrutaba la naturaleza y explorar Oregon y Washington. Este fin de semana pasado fueron a un rio en Vancouver. Mientras su hija nadaba empezó a tener dificultades y grito por ayuda. Sin pensarlo dos veces Fransua y Blanca corrieron al rio a salvar a su hija, aunque ellos no sabían nadar. Afortunadamente Melisa tenía salvavidas y fue salvada por ellos dos. Tristemente Fransua no sobrevivió. Fransua era una gran persona y muy trabajador, tenía dos trabajos y quería mucho a Blanca y Melisa que era su hijastra. Me gustaría que las apoyemos mientras están en esta transición y la tristeza que viene con su perdida. Todas las donaciones van a ser usadas por Blanca para suplementar el ingreso que Fransua proveía al hogar y cualquier otra necesidad que Blanca tenga a futuro.
