Our dear friend, Florine Dooley, passed away last month. Florine was an ardent community servant, contributing her expertise and support to numerous organizations in Coeur d' Alene including the Civic Engagement Alliance, Human Rights Education Institute, and the Inland Northwest Opera. These accolades earned Florine the Bill Wassmuth Memorial Volunteer of the Year Award from the Kootenai County Task Force on Human Relations in October 2023. Outside of community service, Florine wore many hats throughout her life as a trained chef, teacher, and look out for the Forestry Department. Florine's wit and tenacity will be greatly missed.

We are seeking assistance for expenses associated with cremation and memorial services. Any remaining amount, once costs are covered, will be donated to Florine's favorite organizations in the community. Please note that the funds donated are being collected by HREI/Jeanette Laster for disbursement.
