Dear Friends, with deep sadness and a heavy heart we inform you of the passing of our dear son, father and friend Fernando Marroquin. On November 08, 2021 he left us far too soon.
Dear Friends, with deep sadness and a heavy heart we inform you of the passing of our dear son, father and friend Fernando Marroquin. On November 08, 2021 he left us far too soon.
Son of Fulvia and; doting daddy to Jona and beloved friend to so many of us, Fernando was a gifted artist and creator, proud Angeleno, truly one-of-a-kind, ever with a wry smile and the glimmer of mischief in his eye. Never failing to leave a lasting impression on everyone he met, his charisma drew us to him, his fierce loyalty sparked the deepest of friendships and we will forever remember that smiling face, ridiculous sense of humour, and sage brotherly wisdom.
Your contribution is deeply appreciated by his family and will go towards the funeral, memorial and other expenses.
The Funeral service has been scheduled for Dec 8th at 1230pm.
Fernando will rest in peace at Forrest Lawn Hollywood Hills . His family secured a grave site near his highschool sweetheart, Tara, who was very special to Fernando. The family will schedule a memorial service at a church on the day of the funeral. We will update with info here as we learn more.
Our community of friends will hold a memorial at a location around Hollywood/Griffith park T.B.D. on Saturday, Nov 20th starting at 2pm to sundown. We will set up a small picnic w a flower arrangement and an Apperol Spritz bar. Please feel free to bring anything to share and some of your best memories for us all to laugh about.
For those who can not attend the friends memorial on Nov 20th, or the Funeral services on Dec 8th, there will be a 1 year anniversary ceremony scheduled to place a gravestone at his burial site. So there will be a second chance to commemorate our dear friend in a years time.
