It is with profound sadness we share the passing of Fernando Gutierrez. Fernando’s personality will always be remembered as a ball of sunshine as he entered and exited a room. He will always be remembered as a docile, charismatic, goofy man who always provided a helping hand.
Fernando’s life was tragically cut short while on a work trip in Medellin, Colombia. The news of his passing has transpired to his immediate family, friends, work family, and all the aviation community.
Fernando was born and raised in El Salvador, where he made the decision to become a US citizen and pursue a career in the aviation community. His mother describes him as a person with a beautiful soul that was quickly recognized by anyone. Fernando and his brother had an amazing bond. They both traveled to Dallas, TX, where they stuck by each other’s side through thick and thin, supporting and loving each other through every chapter of their lives.
Ernesto, his partner of many years, will always remember and cherish the beautiful person he was. He was the sunshine in his life and will forever remember and cherish him.
Fernando is survived by his mother Julissa Molina, father Federico Gutierrez, brother Kelvin Gutierrez, and life partner of many years, Ernesto Carranza.
We love Fernando forever in our hearts he is in heaven smiling down and knowing he left a beautiful family that loves him and will always have him in our active dream and hearts.
We ask for any assistance to bring him back home from Colombia to the place he called home, Texas. We ask you keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
