In Memory of Fernando Diaz Jr.: Funeral Expense Support

Hello, my name is Tiara Diaz.

My uncle, Fernando Diaz, Jr., passed away after some health complications on Monday, August 5th, 2024.

Nando (known to some as just “Diaz”) was a loving father (leaving behind his 14 year old son and 16 year old daughter), brother, son, uncle, and friend.

His charisma and sense of humor never went unnoticed, and he could always light up a room.

He was very dedicated to his family and his work, and always found a way to balance it, when many of us can’t.

He will be truly missed in body, but never in spirit, for he will be forever in our hearts.

During this time, the Diaz family kindly asks for any support you can provide for covering his funeral expenses.

Friends and family are invited to join us on Friday, August 23rd for viewing from 6-9pm at Ames Funeral Home in Manassas and 10am on Saturday, August 24th for service and burial.

We greatly appreciate your support and kind thoughts.

8/6/24 UPDATE: I am completely overwhelmed by the support our family has received so far in the name of my Tio Nando. I know he would be so proud of his family and friends coming together to support his loved ones in a time of need. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to each and every one of you who has donated or had kind words to say about my uncle.

8/7/24 UPDATE: I’ve had a few people reach out and ask about service dates and arrangements.. as of now, there is no date set. Will likely be end of next week. Will update as soon as I have more details. Thank you all so much for your kindness.
