Cam and Jem Adams welcomed their daughter, Estelle Maria Rose Adams into the world on August 17.
Estelle was born with a heart defect that was discovered after her birth. She underwent open-heart surgery just 4 days into her life and fought bravely.
For 54 days they showed her as much love as one can hope for. Forehead kisses, wrapping tiny fingers around dada's thumb, and singing sweet songs with mama.
After showing the incredible strength and fight that even the tiniest packages are capable of, Estelle passed away in the arms of her parents on Thursday, October 9.
Cam and Jem spent more than 7 weeks staying at the Ronald McDonald House near Advocate Children's Hospital. This was a blessing as it was right across the street from where sweet Stellie was being cared for.
In times like this it is hard to know what to do or say to help and show how deeply we care. By making a donation through this page we can give back directly to the RMHC of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. This is the umbrella organization that includes the house that Cam and Jem stayed at.
The donation will be made to the organization in Estelle's name to honor her time with us and ensure other families have access to comfortable, private rooms so that they can get a good night’s rest knowing their child is close by.
