Esker Mayberry was a pillar of the Gila/Cliff community. He served as a Bishop in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, completed a career in the Border Patrol, and was a husband, father, and grandfather. He was loved by many.

Esker was shot and killed in an act of heinous hatred. He leaves behind his wife, 5 kids, a daughter-in-law, and 4 grandchildren.

Esker was well prepared to leave a lasting legacy and financial support for his wife, Linda in the event that he was no longer there to provide a financial income.

We have created this account purely as a way for the many people who want to show love and support, and are unsure of ways they can do that.

We appreciate most of all, the love and support for this family in this time and the coming months as they learn to navigate the world without Esker.
