In memory of Erin "Bo" Bauer
Donation protected
It is with broken hearts to share the news that Erin Violet Bauer “Bo”, lost her 27 month brave battle against metastatic colon cancer on February 19th. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
To her nephews, niece, and little cousins, she was “Auntie Bo.” She loved spoiling them and planned special activities whenever possible. Even her friends with children agreed that every child should have an Auntie Bo. She was a thoughtful gift giver and always found the perfect gift for everyone on her list.
Erin enjoyed cooking and hosting parties. Whenever you received an invite, you knew that you’d arrive to delicious food and a fully decorated table for the occasion.
Erin was an avid traveler of the US and abroad. She lived in Colorado for many years where she enjoyed hiking the state and discovering hot springs.
We are hoping to raise enough money through this GoFundMe to purchase a memorial bench at Bear Lake in the Rocky Mountain National Park for her and her beloved dog Theodore Bear. We’d also like to plant a tree along the Poudre River where she’d take Theo to hike. If there are remaining funds, it will be put towards medical bills and/or donated to a non profit animal shelter in honor of her love for all dogs.
There are not enough words to describe what a beautiful, kind, loving, funny, and creative soul Erin was. But a testament to her impact on this world was how many friends and family traveled to be near her during her final days.
We love you, Bo. Every heart you touched has been broken and the rippled effect is endless. We will forever cherish your memory.
