In loving memory of Eric Olson

Our beloved friend, Eric Olson, left us a few days ago after injuring himself while doing work at his Marietta home. 

Those of us that were blessed to know him will forever cherish his memory and the good times we had together.  While his loss is tragic, there's solace knowing we have the opportunity to smile and remember each time we do some of the simple things that brought Eric so much joy in life.  Activities such as smoking a pork butt, cooking fried okra, enjoying a southern afternoon or evening on the back porch,  watching Auburn football, relaxing on the beach, playing a favorite song on repeat, talking on the phone with friends, waking up early and enjoying a nice cup of coffee, or playing with son Brantley Olson.  

In recognition of these memories, we're raising money for Eric's living memory, Brantly. The funds will be given to his loving mother, Jennifer Carpenter, who will use it in a way that would honor Eric, his memory, and his deep love for his precious son.

Thoughtfully live each day as if it's your last. One day, you'll be right.
