In Memory of Eric Duker
Donation protected
It is with great sadness that we mourn the loss of our dear friend and colleague Eric Duker, who passed away on Sunday 7 February at the untimely age of 57.
Eric joined the London Underground in 2002, and quickly had an impact on many of his colleagues either with his bright smile, or passionate football debates and love of Chelsea. He was a huge part of the Ghanaian community both inside and outside of work and spent lots of quality time with his fellow countrymen and their families, including Trains Manager Richard Nguah.
Eric’s humour, passion and gentleness will be greatly missed by all at Stratford Depot and others who were fortunate enough to know him during his nearly 20-year career at London Underground.
Eric is survived by his wife and 7 children. We have started a GoFundMe in Eric’s memory to provide support to his family during this difficult time. Any donation will be much appreciated and will go directly to his family.
Thank you.
