Engelbert Ramos was a wonderful husband, father and friend. He suffered with a hidden illness that many will never understand or fully grasp but leaves a wake of sorrow behind. On May 29th Engelbert lost his battle with mental illness and has subsequently entered heaven. He leaves behind a loving wife, Laura Ramos, and two sons Eli (2 years old) and Angelo (16 years old), among a large group of family and friends. At 40 years old this was an unexpected tragedy that the family was not prepared for. Laura’s wishes are to give Engelbert’s family and friends the opportunity to say goodbye with a proper memorial and wake. However, to do this is quite costly to a grieving young mother and now widow. She is asking for aid in the cost so she does not have to burden their families with bereavement expenses.
