Help Support Emma Pintado with the loss of her daughter Reyna and Birth of Grandson Dakota Bear.

With heavy hearts, we are asking for your support to help the Pintado Family with the loss of Emma's daughter Reyna. She passed away on January 4th from complications of pneumonia and a compromised immune system and other health issues. Reyna, a bright and determined woman, was a 2014 graduate of Monrovia High School and an LVN graduate in 2019 with ambitions to become an RN. Reyna was a loving daughter and sister to Sewa, Sedona, and Isis. She loved her family and friends. Prior to passing, Reyna gave birth to her son, Dakota Bear Tagliente, on December 10th, 2024, at just 32 weeks. Baby Dakota has been a fighter since birth, spending weeks in the NICU at Queen of the Valley Hospital in Covina. He is now stable enough to come home soon, though he remains fragile and will need ongoing care. Dakota's grandmother, Emma Pintado, is stepping in as his primary caregiver. Emma has shown incredible strength, but she will need to take an extended leave from work to care for Dakota as he transitions home. The family is facing a difficult time, and we're asking for your help to ease the financial burden. Your generous donations will help cover medical expenses, home adjustments, and everyday living costs while Emma cares for Dakota. This family has already faced unimaginable loss, and bringing Dakota home is a bittersweet blessing. Your support will help ensure that he receives the care and love he needs.
