In Memory of Emily Thevenin

Dear Friends and Family

It is with broken hearts that we share the tragic news that Emily Thevenin passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday August 27th.

We are devastated by this loss, but are grateful that after a decades-long battle with multiple chronic illnesses, she is finally able to have peace. Em remained strong and optimistic throughout unbelievable physical and emotional challenges, always inspiring all of us with her kindness, wisdom and endless empathy.  Benjamin, her boys, and so many others will miss her terribly. She blessed all of our lives—as a wife and mother, friend, teacher and family member. She was as close to perfect as a person can be, all while being so humble and selfless.

A memorial service will be planned and details will be shared in the coming weeks. Benjamin and the boys are with family, so messages of comfort are best sent by text message or email. Contributions to support the family in this loss are welcome and can be received using this GoFundMe.

We hope that the many happy memories that we shared with Em during her life will give us all some needed comfort during this difficult time. Thank you for loving our sweet Em.
