We are honored to have had the privilege of working with Chef Elijah Coe. Chef Elijah was involved in a tragic motorcycle crash on Friday, May 3rd. He was taken off life support on the evening of May 8th and passed shortly after. Elijah was generous in life and as an organ donor, he was able to help give several people a second chance.
He joined VT Group in 2017, and quickly became part of our close-knit family in Portland.
Chef Elijah spent his career in the hospitality industry in all pockets of the world. Whether he was working in the British Royal Navy as a chef for the Queen and Royal Family, leading his team at Seattle’s New Castle Golf Club or Microsoft, executing major events at the Lincoln Center and The MET in New York, we have no doubt Chef Elijah’s exuberant personality and friendly demeanor brought all of his teams closer together.
It is difficult to put into words that he has passed, and during this healing process, we feel it’s important to support his amazing family and close friends. We would like to pay tribute to Chef Elijah Coe, and establish this Go Fund Me to assist with medical bills and help his family during this difficult time.
