In loving memory of Edward Lee Avent (Tru Lee)

Edward Lee Avent, known to so many as Tru Lee, was Chastity’s beloved brother-in-law, and his loss has left the family heartbroken and devastated. Edward was more than a brother, uncle, and friend. He was loving, supportive, motivated, and always willing to speak life into others. He had a way of putting a smile on someone’s face, encouraging them, and reminding them of their worth, even during his own difficult days. Edward showed up for the people he loved, believed in others, and made a lasting impact on so many lives. His life was taken far too soon, and now his family is facing the painful reality of planning his funeral and burial while trying to grieve this sudden and senseless loss.

This fundraiser is being created to help cover Edward’s funeral and burial expenses so his family can lay him to rest with love, peace, and dignity. During this incredibly difficult time, the family is humbly asking for support. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the financial burden and allow the focus to remain on honoring Edward’s life and memory.
