Our dear friend and colleague, Mr. Edgar Almeida, passed away on Saturday, October 18th. Many of you knew him as the person who kept our school maintenance together, but to all of us, he was so much more — he was family. A kind soul, a friendly presence, and a cherished member of our Odyssey community.

He was known for giving smiles, hugs, and high-fives to students every day. He always had a smile on his face, a song in his voice, and was always ready to help anyone who needed it. Mr. Edgar’s warmth and kindness brightened every hallway and classroom he entered.

To honor his memory, we are starting a fundraiser to help support Mr. Edgar’s family with any unexpected expenses that may arise. His passing has deeply affected us all — staff, students, and families alike.

Mr. Edgar will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him, but his joyful spirit and caring heart will forever live on in all of us.
