In Memory of Eddie Bautista: Support His Family

It is with profound sadness that the Fontana Police Officers Association shares the passing of Fontana Police Officer Edward "Eddie" Bautista on July 10, 2025.

Eddie began his distinguished career with the Fontana Police Department in 2013 and proudly served the city for over a decade. Much of his time was spent as a devoted K9 handler, where his deep bond with his K9 partners and unwavering commitment to public safety left a lasting impact on both his fellow officers and the community he protected.

Eddie will be remembered not only for his professionalism and dedication, but for the warmth, positivity, and infectious smile he brought into every room. He was a beloved son, friend, and colleague—someone who uplifted everyone around him and truly made a difference in the lives of many.

He is survived by his mother, who now faces the unimaginable loss of her only son. We are asking for your support during this incredibly difficult time. All donations will go directly toward helping Eddie’s family with funeral expenses and easing the financial burden as they grieve this tremendous loss.
