To honor the life and legacy of Ed McGonagle, who passed away on April 26, 2026, we have created this GoFundMe to support his home health aide, Amy, in pursuing her calling to become a registered nurse.

During the final two years of his life, Amy cared for Ed with compassion, dignity, and love—treating him as she would her own father. In that time, she became a part of our family. Amy is far from her own family, having fled her home country and sought asylum in the United States.

In honor of Ed’s life, we hope to help Amy pursue her dream of becoming a registered nurse by supporting her journey to nursing school. We believe there is no more meaningful way to carry forward his legacy than by investing in someone who cared for him so devotedly.
