My name is Kayla. The amazing guy in this picture is my stepdad Ed, he was one of my best friends, closest confidant, and the greatest bonus dad a girl could ask for. He loved my brother and I as his own, loving us and treating us as his own without ever trying to replace our own fathers roles and responsibilities in our lives.

He was a compassionate, kind, adventurous, spirited friend and father. It’s nearly been one month since Ed’s passing and we need some help raising the remaining funds for his cremation and Urn expenses. I cannot explain the depths of loss we are all feeling with his passing.

Ed was a gift of Life Donor, we know at least two people have been given the opportunity to recover their sight through his passing, as well as potentially more through the donation of other tissue. Ed would be happy to know he has helped others. While we are grieving his loss, we are also grateful to know that the man whose life motto was, “Do no harm” has helped others in their time of need.

He is so greatly missed. We appreciate any assistance we can get to bring his ashes home.
