Hello Everyone! My name is Kaylee Maki. It is with a very heavy heart that I come here today asking for assistance.

My dear Grandfather, Earl Mathew Maki, passed on May 27th. My Father, Wayne Maki and I had been up visit Grandpa 2 weeks prior. He was in good spirits, health was well aside from a couple minor falls he had. So this news came to us as a big shock. We were not prepared for what was ahead of us. My dad is a very strong man. One who would never ask for help, that's why I'm here today to do it for him as I see his struggle.

My grandpa was one of the best men around. Always had a welcoming smile, a good joke and a cold drink for company. He was the type of man who took care of his family. He worked hard his entire life to provide a beautiful life for his wife, Pamela Maki, his son Wayne, and his Grandchildren, myself and Justin Maki and his Great Grandson Lucas. Earl was kind to everyone he met. He was the type of man to give you the shirt off his back. Always happy to lend a helping hand. He dedicated many years of his life to dispatching with the RCMP. He coached and played hockey. He spent many hours on the golf course and in bowling leagues with beloved friends, his son and family.

Earl spent the majority of his life taking care of other people. Today it is my turn to help take care of him. My father has already paid 1700$ towards the funeral home. This money would be helping to cover the remaining costs with cremation and end of life expenses.

I understand everyone is having a hard time with finances right now with how the world is, we appreciate all the love and support you have to offer. If you are able to help, I appreciate it more than you know. Thank you.
