Duoc "Kookie" Lestico dedicated her life to her family and her faith. She spent most of her time in her later years at many of the Buddhist temples in the Austin area. These temples are paramount in the rituals related to her passing and to her spirit passing to her next life successfully. In lieu of flowers, donations made to this campaign will be given to the three temples she frequented and helped her the most: Linh Son Buddhist Temple on Duval Road, Chua Phap Hoa on Provines Drive, and Lien Hoa Temple on Capitol View Drive.
