In Memory of Dr. Kreitman: Supporting DCDS Mens Soccer
Donation protected
Three years ago, we lost a beloved member of our community, Dr. Kevan Kreitman. His unwavering support for the Detroit Country Day Soccer Program left an indelible mark on the lives of countless players, families, and coaches. Always present at our games, he was more than just a fan; he was a mentor, a friend, and a steadfast advocate for every player on the team.
Dr. K’s passion for soccer went beyond the field. He believed in the power of teamwork, dedication, and community. Each year, he generously sponsored a dinner for the men’s soccer team at Maggiano’s, creating a cherished tradition that brought players together to celebrate their hard work, share experiences, and foster lasting friendships. These dinners were not just meals; they were an opportunity to reflect on the season, motivate one another, and build a sense of unity that transcended the game.
This GoFundMe campaign is dedicated to honoring Dr. Kreitman’s legacy by ensuring that these special dinners continue for years to come. Our goal is to raise $15,000, which will allow us to sponsor these gatherings annually for at least the next ten years. By reaching this goal, we will provide the team with a platform to celebrate their achievements, reinforce the values of camaraderie and respect, and carry forward the spirit of community that Dr. K cherished so deeply.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will help us keep this tradition alive and create a meaningful way to celebrate the ideals that Dr. Kreitman embodied. With your support, we can ensure that every season’s team can gather, share meals, and strengthen the bonds that make our soccer program exceptional.
Let’s come together as a community to honor Dr. Kreitman’s memory and inspire future generations of soccer players at Detroit Country Day. Your generosity will not only honor a remarkable man but also contribute to the growth and success of our young athletes.
Thank you for your support. Together, we can ensure that Dr. Kreitman’s legacy continues to shine on the field and in our hearts for years to come.
