In Memory of Dr. Jerry Boorstein

On Sunday, April 12th, the world lost the greatest doctor a patient could ever have. Luckily for my family, we found him over 30 years ago and haven't seen another doctor since. In that time, Dr. Boorstein and Pat became much more than a visit to the doctor. They were family. There was nothing like walking into their office and being greeted by Murphy or thrown into the middle of some conversation that would leave you in tears laughing before even meeting with Dr. B.  His good heart, calming presence, and sense of humor made you feel comfortable and instantly at ease. I trusted him with my life and knew he'd always have the answer. No one will ever replace him. After reading so many comments on Facebook from other patients, I quickly realized how similar everyone else's story was to mine. I wasn't surprised. It was only natural for this man to make such strong connections with people. Since we are living in a time right now that prevents us from showing Dr. B the love and respect that he truly deserves, we started this fundraiser to support what he loved most, his family. I know how badly my family felt the need to do something to show their appreciation for all of his years of love and hard work, and I know others must feel the same.  All donations will be given to Pat Boorstein in honor of the greatest doctor of all time, Dr. Jerry Boorstein.
