Kirby Rider was a proud U.S. Army war veteran who served his country with honor and courage. During his service, he earned multiple medals recognizing his dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to something greater than himself. Even after his military service ended, Kirby never stopped serving others.
In civilian life, Kirby devoted his heart and energy to helping people with disabilities. He worked closely with local businesses, building connections and creating opportunities so others could find employment, resources, and a sense of purpose. He believed deeply in helping people reach their goals and improving the lives of those around him. His impact on the community was real, lasting, and meaningful.
For the past 8 years, Kirby was a loving and devoted partner. He also stepped fully into the role of dad to three children, filling a space that was missing and doing so with patience, love, and pride. He showed up for family dinners, game nights, everyday moments, and the hard days. To these kids, he was simply Dad.
Kirby’s passing has left behind an overwhelming emotional void and an unexpected financial burden. His family is now facing not only deep grief, but significant financial strain as they work to rebuild their lives without him. The children are grieving the loss of the man they loved as their father, while also feeling the weight of uncertainty that no child should have to carry.
This fundraiser is to help ease that burden. The funds raised will go toward covering basic living expenses, relieving immediate financial stress, and giving this family the time and stability they need to heal. Every donation, share, and message of support helps honor Kirby’s legacy of service, love, and compassion.
Kirby gave so much of himself to his country, his community, and his family. Now we are asking for help to support the family he left behind.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting in any way you can.
