Douglas Childs touched the lives of so many in our community over the last 10 years while at Bedford Hardware.  The outpouring of love and memories upon learning of his passing as a result of this pandemic is a true testimony to his sincerity, his authenticity and the relationships he made with so many.  He was the big smile and welcoming heart of our store and he will be missed.

Douglas leaves behind his wife Lois, sons Bradley and Jackson and a loving extended family.

Many of you have reached out to pay tribute to Douglas and asked how you can help.  Donations raised will go to the family to help with funeral and other expenses.
