In Memory of Donna: Support Her Loved Ones

Donation protected
Hi, this is the children of Donna Weible. We hoped to never have to type something like this but life never seems to work out the way you think. Our mother tragically past away after complications from open heart surgery on December 11th. She fought hard the whole time, like a stubborn Weible would! Unfortunately hospitals, surgeries, and funerals are very expensive. Our parents were both retired and basically relying on a lone pension and social security to survive.
Obituary:
Donna Lee Weible (née Shofestall), 68, of DuBois, PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and pastors on December 11, 2024. Born on August 25, 1956, in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, to the late James and Jennie Shofestall.
Donna was married to Ronald Weible for 48 years. Together, they built a family filled with love and cherished memories. She is survived by her five children: Rhonda, Timothy, James, Steven, and Rachel, as well as ten grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her brother, Jay Shofestall, and her dog, Maggie.
A two-time breast cancer survivor, Donna was an advocate for breast cancer awareness. She also had over 30 years of experience in the dentistry field, serving various administrative roles, with most of those years dedicated to the office of Dr. Cleveland Null, DDS in Gettysburg, PA. Her resilience, humor, creativity, and unwavering dedication to her family inspired everyone who knew her. An avid quilter, Donna found joy in crafting and sharing her talents with her community and her church.
Donna was a devoted member of her local church, where she served as secretary and found purpose in serving others. Her faith and commitment to her community were cornerstones of her life, leaving a legacy of kindness and strength.
Details of her memorial service are forthcoming. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to her church, Smithtown Community Church, 3154 Smithtown Rd, Falls Creek, PA 15840.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, we know times are tough for everyone, especially during the holidays. Thank you and God bless
