In Memory of Donna: Fulfill Her Last Wish
Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Donna on Sunday, May 25th. Donna was a cherished soul who touched the lives of many—an incredibly loving mother, stepmother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her boundless affection extended to her family, friends, and beloved
animals. Donna was a woman of many
passions and talents. She found joy in weaving baskets, a craft that highlighted her creativity and patience. As a dedicated park ranger and member of AmeriCorps, Donna committed herself to protecting nature and serving her community. She had a deep love for the ocean, and her adventurous spirit led her to embrace scuba diving and the freedom of the beach life. Proud of her Native American heritage, Donna had a unique way of celebrating life, including her memorable tradition of howling at the moon. She was known for her warm hospitality and her humorous way of signaling the end of a gathering—by playfully "kicking you out after dinner." As we honor Donna's memory and celebrate the vibrant life she led, we also humbly reach out for support. We are seeking assistance to fulfill her final wish of being cremated. Donna's kind and caring nature will continue to inspire us, and her legacy will be cherished by all who had the privilege to know her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever remain with us. Any contributions, no matter the size, are greatly appreciated. May her soul rest in peace, and may we find comfort in the beautiful memories she left behind. Services will be held privately.
