In Memory of Donald Lee

Hi everyone, my name is Erika Bassett and my family and I have considered Donald and his family an extension of our own for over a decade. If you were fortunate enough to know Donald the way we did, you probably felt the same way.

On May 3, 2022, the Lee family suffered a tremendous tragedy as Donald was suddenly called Home by our Almighty Father. Though we may never truly understand why this unthinkable loss had to happen so soon, we will always remember Donald for the incredible impact he made on so many lives.

Donald was a larger-than-life personality who had a heart that was even bigger. Many knew and loved him as a beloved coach, charismatic DJ, dedicated coworker, and remarkable friend. But what he was best at was being a devoted husband and best friend to his beautiful wife, Monica, an unconditionally loving father to his three kids, DJ, Deion, and Dayna, and extremely proud granddad to his sweet granddaughters, Trinity and Azrielle. Anyone who knew Donald well knows that his family was his entire purpose, and he would move mountains to take care of them. So I kindly ask everyone who loved Donald and is able to, please contribute what you can to help ease the burden that his family now faces. A man like him can never be replaced, but let’s try to take care of his family the way he did every day of his life.
