In Memory of Don Rodgers

The OU MBA and Price College of Business community has lost an extraordinary member of our family. Don Rodgers, our beloved Academic Advisor for the Professional and Online MBA programs, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on December 30, 2024, leaving behind his wife, Nicole, and their 9-year-old son, Donald III.

For 22 years, Don served the OU community with dedication, warmth, and a sense of humor that made him someone everyone wanted to be around. Since 2003, he guided countless students through their academic journeys, serving as not only an advisor, but also an advocate and friend. Our MBA students particularly loved Don for his unwavering support and genuine care for their success.

Don was more than just an academic advisor – he was a proud Sooner through and through, an avid OU football fan, and a cherished friend to many. His sudden departure has left a void in our community that cannot be filled. He will be deeply missed.

Don and his wife have always been passionate advocates for education. In honor of Don's legacy and his family's commitment to learning, we are organizing this fund to help ensure his son's educational future remains bright. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help support Don's family during this difficult time.
