**Donald Anthony Brandon, Jr., 70**

*May 19, 1954 - May 9, 2025*

Donald Anthony Brandon, Jr., age 70, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Born on May 19, 1954, in Hayward, California, Don lived a life marked by service, devotion to family, and an unforgettable spirit.

A proud Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam War, Don carried his sense of duty and precision into every aspect of his life. Those who knew him remember a man who was funny, stubborn in the best way, deeply loving, and always present when it mattered most.

Don's journey took a meaningful turn in 1984 when he met the woman who would become the love of his life. Their bond began at a friend's house and quickly grew into a lasting partnership filled with both challenges and joy. At the time they met, both were navigating divorces. Don stepped into a fatherly role for Amber Sarah with unwavering dedication-guiding her through childhood and adulthood with love and support. In return, she stood by him through every hospitalization as his personal nurse and constant companion.

Together they built a family rooted in resilience and affection. Don was a devoted father to three daughters: Amber Sarah, Jenafer Rose, and Ivy Rena. His pride in them was evident throughout his life.

Don is also remembered by his mother Bernadette Brandon; his sister Wendy Hewson; two cherished grandchildren, Rylie Foreman and Bella Brandon; niece Kerine; nephews Joshua and Johnathan; as well as extended family including in-laws who shared in the many chapters of his life.

He brought laughter to everyday moments and had an amazing personality that left an impression on everyone he met. Whether it was sitting on the right side of the couch or sharing quiet moments with loved ones, Don's presence was always felt-and will continue to be.

Though he didn't want to leave this world just yet, God had other plans for him. His soul remains close-still seen out of the corner of an eye or felt beside us during quiet evenings.

Rest in peace, Don-beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, veteran, and friend. You were truly one of a kind.

May your memory bring comfort to those who knew you.
