Dolores Romero Corona, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on September 13, 1947, in San Pablo Zitlaltépec, Tlaxcala, Mexico, Dolores lived a life rooted in love, faith, and dedication to her family.

Dolores was a devoted spouse to Trino Martinez and a proud mother to her only daughter, Emelia. Her greatest joy came from her three grandchildren—Rafael, Fernando, and Emanuel—whom she loved deeply and who brought light and laughter into her life.

A gifted seamstress and a wonderful cook, Dolores used her talents to care for others and support her family. From a young age, she took on the responsibility of helping to raise her six siblings, a reflection of her generous spirit and strong sense of duty. Her hands were rarely still—always sewing, cooking, or lending a hand to someone in need.

Dolores was a woman of unwavering faith. A devoted follower of Christ and the Virgin Mary, she found strength and guidance in her beliefs and was a familiar presence in her church community. Her faith was the foundation of her life and an inspiration to all who knew her.

Before her passing, she had the chance to meet her 2 great grandchildren, Evangeline and Ezra, who brought her so much laughter and happiness and who she also loved very much.

Mama Lola also found joy in the simple moments— companionship of her beloved dog, Canela, with whom she shared many peaceful days outside with while she tended to her garden.

After 9 long months of battling her illnesses she finally returned home where she had long awaited to rest.

Dolores leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and faith. She is survived by her only daughter Emelia and her three grandchildren, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure. She is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

En memoria de Dolores Romero Corona 13 de septiembre de 1947 – 13 de mayo de 2025 Dolores Romero Corona, querida madre, abuela, hermana, tía y amiga, falleció en paz el 13 de mayo de 2025 a la edad de 77 años. 

Nacida el 13 de septiembre de 1947 en San Pablo Zitlaltépec, Tlaxcala, México, Dolores vivió una vida arraigada en el amor, la fe y la dedicación a su familia. 

 Dolores fue una esposa devota de Trino Corona y una madre orgullosa de su única hija, Emelia. Su mayor alegría fueron sus tres nietos: Rafael, Fernando y Emanuel, a quienes amó profundamente y quienes le brindaron luz y alegría. 

 Dolores, una talentosa costurera y una cocinera maravillosa, utilizó sus talentos para cuidar de los demás y apoyar a su familia. Desde muy joven, asumió la responsabilidad de ayudar a criar a sus seis hermanos, reflejo de su espíritu generoso y su firme sentido del deber. Sus manos rara vez estaban quietas: siempre cosía, cocinaba o ayudaba a alguien necesitado. 

 Dolores fue una mujer de fe inquebrantable. Devota seguidora de Cristo y de la Virgen María, encontró fuerza y ​​guía en sus creencias y fue una presencia familiar en su comunidad eclesial. Su fe fue el fundamento de su vida y una inspiración para todos los que la conocieron. 

 Antes de su fallecimiento, tuvo la oportunidad de conocer a sus dos bisnietos, Evangeline y Ezra, quienes le brindaron tanta risa y felicidad, y a quienes también quería mucho. 

 Mamá Lola también encontraba alegría en los momentos sencillos: la compañía de su querida perra, Canela, con quien compartía muchos días tranquilos al aire libre mientras cuidaba su jardín. 

Despues de 9 largos meses de lucha contra sus enfermedades, finalmente regresó a casa, donde tanto había esperado descansar. 

 Dolores deja un legado de amor, fortaleza y fe. Le sobreviven su única hija, Emelia, y sus tres nietos, quienes siempre llevarán su recuerdo en el corazón. 

 Su vida fue una bendición, su recuerdo un tesoro. La amamos con indescriptibilidad y la extrañamos profundamente.
