I am creating this fundraiser for my family in memory of my little brother, Destin Pickett. Losing Destin has been heartbreaking, and our lives were changed forever when he became the victim of a hit and run. Destin was a hardworking, genuine son, brother, uncle, nephew, and so much more to all of us who love him. As we try to make it through this painful time, I want to honor his life in a way that keeps his name and memory alive while also bringing comfort, support, and awareness to others facing similar pain.

The funds raised will help my family with a temporary and permanent memorial for Destin, as well as repast expenses, balloon release costs, and preparation for these events. I also want to start a program in Destin’s name that brings awareness to hit and run victims and helps connect families dealing with unsolved hit and run cases.
