I would like to start things by saying thank for your time and any consideration for my family as we attempt to navigate these hard times.

I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my 29 year old sister Desiree Marie Rosell and our family during an incredibly difficult time.

On March 12 around 5:00 PM, my sister was detained by police. During the process, officers were told that she has severe asthma and anxiety that can cause life threatening panic attack. She was placed alone in an isolated holding cell.

Our family didn’t hear anything throughout the night, we were expecting a call in the morning to hear from her, instead at 5:30 AM, we were informed that she has passed away. After finally finding the coroner did we receive a accurate time of death of about 2:43 AM.

As of right now, we still haven’t been given a cause of death, and we have not been allowed to see her body. We are heartbroken and just trying to understand what happened.

We’re hoping to raise funds to help with funeral expenses, possible legal costs, and to support our family as we deal with devastating loss. Any help, whether it’s a donation or sharing this truly means a lot.
