In Memory of Derek D’Onofrio

It is with the heaviest of hearts that my    family has to say goodbye to Derek D’Onofrio. On November 25, 2020, he was suddenly taken from us to be with the Lord when his earthly body failed him. 

Derek was a caring, joyful and loving man. His laughter, sense of humor, giving spirit and presence were a blessing to everyone that he encountered. He was loved by so many. 

As we sit here and remember him, crying and reminiscing, we also have the heavy burden of having to plan for his funeral.

We find ourselves overwhelmed with the costs of honoring Derek and how we will meet them.

We are confident that God will provide
the costs associated with this surreal reality. 

As a result, it is with humble hearts that we ask that those who loved Derek, would help honor and remember him by donating toward the cost of saying goodbye to him. 

We would humbly ask that in lieu of flowers or gifts for his family, that you would consider donating the monetary value of those things instead. 

Regardless of your ability to donate, we, more importantly ask that you pray for his mother, father, sister, brother and family. They have been devastated by this and need your prayer and love.
