Louie Loufas

Louie Loufas passed away during his sleep peacefully on January 16, 2022, at the age of 57 years old. He was a family man, whose biggest priority and greatest love were his wonderful wife Julie Hayes and his son, Demetrius Loufas.

 

His favorite pastime was renovating cars and motorcycles. Louie was a mechanic prior to being a Deputy Sheriff and his hobby was his cars and motorcycles, owning 16 motorcycles.

 

Louie was a San Francisco Deputy Sheriff. Courageous and Compassionate, Fearless and Fair, this Brave and Benevolent Son, Father, and Brother of Blue simply wanted to make a difference in his small corner of the world. May we take a part of Brother Louie's legacy with us when we enter into our daily arenas while continuing to create our own. May we vow to continue with the same Duty, Courage, Honor, and Respect as Deputy Loufas served. May we always remember Deputy Sheriff Loufas for how He Lived As Only A Hero Could. He will always be remembered as a Hero!

 

He will always be remembered for his humor and smile. Forever in our hearts and never forgotten.

 

This fund is being set up to collect funds for his wife and son....Julie and  Demetrius.

All money raised from this campaign will go directly to Louie's family. It will cover any necessary costs associated with his passing and help take the weight of the world from off their shoulders in this sad time.

 

Louie Loufas was member of the San Francisco Deputy Sheriffs' Association since his first day as a Deputy Sheriff #1500, June 15th 1998. Everyone was Louie's friend and he loved everyone. He will be in our hearts forever and he will be a friend forever.
