In memory of Demetrius Banks

The Banks, Coleman, and Fields family has been forever changed yet again. Demetrius Banks, son of Sandra Coleman, brother to Tykan and Deja, recently passed away on May 22, 2020. 

At this time, please honor and respect the family by not asking questions but filling them up with your prayers, thoughts and love during this time as they gather more information and prepare to say goodbye to this beautiful soul.

Demetrius was full of life who's bright light surrounded anyone within his presence. He loved, loved his family. He was a mommas boy, a caring brother, and loving member of his extended family. Besides the immense passion for reading - the boy loved to learn -his faith, religion and christianity were by none the most important aspect of his life. He had an immense regard for his church and pastor. 

Although, Demtrius had a few rough years in his 21 years of life, thru it all, these past few years he was able to find his path and motivated himself to finish and complete his high school diploma which allowed him to fulfill his next biggest adventure which was around the corner. He was a few weeks shy from starting his Naval career. That's right, he had sworn in and was a Navy enlistee awaiting to ship out to bootcamp. Demtrius wanted to see the world as well as experience life with all its ups and down but the biggest goal was to figure a way to help his family.

He will eternally be loved and missed by all his friends and family but most of all his mother, brother and sister who adored him greatly.

At this time, Demetrius' family is still gathering information and do not have concrete information to pass around so please limit your questions regarding his passing. We do ask that you find it in you to pray for him as well as his family during this dark time. They will need all the support from friends and family to survive this gap that this precious soul has left behind. Please feel free to donate any amount which will help Sandra and the family with funeral costs as well as to cover any other debt incurred by Sandra's bereavement time away from work. 

This account will be managed by her sister, Elizabeth Fields who is also the point person for Sandra.
