It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we share the unexpected passing of our dear friend and colleague, Dean Fisher.

Dean was a family man through and through. His love for his wife Holly, and children: Isaac, Lilly, Sadie, Cal, and Nina was shared often through his endless stories, usually with some comical twist.

For years, Dean worked Security at the front desk in the Uline Corporate office. His goal and priority was to ensure everyone who entered the building, started with a warm “good morning” and a smile. He would go out of his way to ask questions about how your night or weekend was, how you and your family are doing, and was not shy about telling a joke or two. He did this all while smiling and holding the door open for you.

In the beginning Dean worked as a contractor, but through hard work and determination he quickly moved from being a security officer for Schmitt Security to becoming the Regional Security Manager for Uline. He loved that this new position allowed him to work at many of Uline’s locations, so he could spread his impact to Uline employees across the US and Canada. Dean was truly one of a kind and his presence will be greatly missed by us all.

The outpouring of love and kind words has been wonderful and has been a great comfort to the family.

In hopes to ease financial burdens for Dean’s family as they adjust to life without him, we invite you to donate and share a story about Dean.

Services for Dean will be held at Proko Funeral Home in Kenosha on Monday, 9/25. Viewing will start at 9:30 am, the service will start at 11:30 am.
