On June 11, 2025, around 4 a.m. in the City of Visalia, there was a hit and run on the streets of Noble Avenue and Vista Street. Unfortunately, the car hit my brother while he was crossing the street and fled the scene. David’s life was senselessly and violently taken from him. David was an innocent bystander tragically taken from this world far too soon. The unbearable loss turned into a nightmare no family should ever face.

If you knew David, you knew he was a beloved son, brother, father, and friend. David had the softest heart and the loudest laugh. He was the proud father to his young daughter Violet, who is 11 years old and who he leaves behind with a heavy heart. That’s just the kind of man he was—loyal, dedicated, and full of love for his family. He had dreams, ambition, and a heart full of love for those around him. His family and friends are shattered by his loss. Nobody’s life should be taken like this. This was an act of cruelty that has left a family shattered.

Even in our heartbreak, we find peace in knowing David gave his life to God. No one is ever prepared to bury their loved one, and the financial burden during such a painful time is overwhelming.
