In Loving Memory of David "DG Dave" Taylor
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share with you the passing of our favorite Uncle, brother, and friend David (DG Dave, Moto) Lee Taylor. While we don't at this time have all of the details to share with you surrounding his unexpected death and are still wrapping our minds and hearts around it, we do intend to have a memorial service and/or celebration of life in the very near future. We have set up this gofundme to financially support that celebration and with hopes that we can give my Uncle D and your DG Dave/Moto the celebration of life that he deserves.
Uncle D as we called him was my Mom's (Kari Kissell (Taylor)) brother and a big part of our family. For many of you he was a friend that became family, a fellow competitor, a motocross legend and mentor, or someone you looked up to when you first started racing. Motocross was his life and his heart and I know that he loved every bit of it and all the individuals who crossed his path along the way.
*Donation Note: tipping on gofundme is optional, but a feature we can't opt out of unfortunately. If you do not wish to donate a tip to gofundme, please select "other" and put in $0.00.
Any additional funds raised will be donated to the Road 2 Recovery Foundation, to support injured motocross athletes and other related causes I know are near and dear to Uncle D's heart. More information on the Road 2 Recovery Foundation can be found here: https://road2recovery.com/
Please feel free to leave a note or a memory here on this page, all will be gathered to be shared. (A special thank you for the posts and memories shared so far on social media, they mean the world to us to see how he was loved by so many.)
More details to come in the coming days.
All Our Love,
The Kissell (Taylor) Family
