On 25th September 2026, we lost my younger brother, David, at just 37 years old.

David was a much-loved son, brother and dad to his son Greyson. He was funny, caring, full of character and someone who could make you laugh when you least expected it. Like everyone, he had his struggles, but there was so much more to David than the difficult times in his life.

Losing him so suddenly has been incredibly difficult for all of us, and something we’re still trying to come to terms with.

David’s funeral is taking place on Monday 19th October at Wigan Crematorium. As a family, we’ve made sure everything is arranged so that we can give him the farewell he deserves.

I’ve decided to set up this fundraiser for anyone who knew David and would like to help towards the expenses. The money raised will go towards reimbursing the funeral costs covered and towards his memorial.

There is absolutely no expectation for anyone to donate. I know times are difficult for a lot of people, and your kind messages, memories of David and support for our family have already meant so much to us.

If you’re able to contribute, no matter how much, it would be genuinely appreciated. And if you can’t, sharing a memory of David or simply keeping him in your thoughts means just as much to us as a family.
