In Memory of David Blim

David Blim had a huge presence when entering a room, his voice commanded attention. He did not know what "whisper" is.
For anyone who does not know Dave well or enough, would think he was loud, intimidating.
But that was just the surface. Well, he was LOUD!
Wendy called him Sir Loud-a- Lot, House of Seabirds.

Dave was blunt, straight forward kind of guy but no harm, no mean bone in him.
Just a pure generous man.
To know Blim is to love Blim.
It was the manly man appearance of someone who was raised in a police officer household and needed to hold on to it.

Once the ice was broken, the outer shell was peeled off, one got to really know him, the inner Dave Blim was just a sweet, sensitive, kind soul.
Dave was our GSL teddy bear for 12 years.
He loved  Boscoe, his best friend till the end. Dave enjoyed Thai Curry and Rice, Sticky Rice was his favorite.

He was an F5 Global Service Logistics investigator, a Solving machine! He found every errors, in any system we utilize, he solved every problems we had encountered, some even was before it became a problem.
He swore at every chagres vendors overcharged us and made them correct it.
His mind was brilliant!

The last good deed he did for us was a great reminder how short life is and that time is limited. Do something positive when we are alive, when we can, when we have a chance to act.

Let's be a part of his final goodbye, do something positive when a chance is here and help funding Blim's funeral service.
There is monetary needs in getting Boscoe from Kent Animal Shelter to  the family in Sacramento, CA. where Dave was from.

It's not the amount, it's the thought.
A gift is a gift, give as we are able. A giving spirit is priceless.

I knows he is looking down and missing us, ummm... okay, ....maybe more of missing March Madness, Tony Romo hug and the Dallas Cowboys, NFL discussion, who got traded today.
David Blim is and will be so much missed by us all!
May you rest in peace, Dave.

David Blim memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 30th, 2019 from 11:00 - 2 :00 at;
911 Meadow Road
West Sacramento, CA 95691
His daughter, Jennifer Landry is in charge of his funeral arrangement.
