A native to Southern New Jersey, he spend many summers on the beaches of Ocean City. In his adult years he found his true home, Quepos, Costa Rica. His heart was always at home in the midst of the lush landscapes, serene beaches, and vast wildernesses of Costa Rica that he so adored. For David, Costa Rica was not just a destination—it was home, a sanctuary where he could immerse himself in the natural world, and he spoke of the country with such passion that it was clear the beauty had a profound effect on him from his first visit. From the gentle ocean waves to the vibrant sunsets and the spirit of Pura Vida; Costa Rica was a place that healed his soul.

More than just his love for nature, David’s generosity of spirit and kindness toward others made him beloved by all who knew him.
