Hello everyone,

With broken hearts, we are asking for support as we lay my brother to rest.

Our family is grieving the sudden and senseless loss of my brother, Devante. He was a son, a brother, a father, and someone who loved deeply especially his child. Just days before his life was taken, he spent Christmas with his son, holding onto moments that should have been the beginning of many more memories.

Tragically, on Boxing Day, his life was taken in an act of violence that has left our family shattered. What hurts beyond words is knowing that his son has now been left without both parents and will grow up carrying a loss no child should ever have to bear.

Nothing can prepare a family for this kind of pain. Along with the emotional devastation, we are now faced with unexpected funeral and memorial expenses during one of the hardest moments of our lives.

We are asking for any support whether through a donation or by sharing this page to help us give Devante the dignified farewell he deserves and to support his child during this unimaginable time.
