On April 27, 2023, Karen, lost her loving husband Dave tragically at the age of 39.

Dave loved to entertain and cook, especially the time spent on his smoker and grill. Dave was also an avid board game and video game connoisseur. He spent countless hours playing games with Karen and their friends. He was always up for a new challenge and enjoyed the thrill of competition.

Dave was also an enthusiastic catfish angler and enjoyed spending time at their favorite fishing spot.

Dave enlisted in the United States Air Force and became an F-16 Crew Chief in the 308th Fighter Squadron. He then went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and became an Electronic Engineering Associate at Cummins in Columbus, Indiana.
