In Loving Memory of Our Friend Dave Bissinger

On 12/25/24 we received heartbreaking news of the passing of our friend Dave Bissinger. Dave was a cherished soul who brought kindness, laughter, and warmth to our lives. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.

As we all process the loss of Dave, we wanted to find a fitting way to memorialize his life in honor of something he loved and was passionate about.

Before he enrolled in Veterinarian School at Colorado State University, Dave spent time volunteering at Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago which only fueled the love and passion he had for animals.

In honor of that we would like to make a gift in Dave’s honor to Lincoln Park Zoo. All funds raised will go towards a personalized bronze leaf inscribed as a tribute to Dave, and will be unveiled on the Giving Wall at the Pritzker Family Children's Zoo. We will plan a gathering to view the wall later this year.
