In Memory of Darren Westby

We are the family of Darren Westby who was received in Heaven far too early in a vehicle accident on Dec. 20th. Darren was returning to the LA area for Christmas from Mammoth Mountain after a few days of skiing. An errant driver crossed the center line on Highway 14 and hit Darren head-on, killing Darren instantly.

Darren touched many hearts and will be forever missed. He was a successful musician, rock climber, handy-figure-out-and-fix-anything-man, and most recently a graduate student at UNLV in the field of Geology where he also worked as a student lab teacher.

We are grateful for any donations made towards Darren's end-of-life expenses. Donations exceeding our expenses will be used to make a donation to Joshua Tree National Monument in memory of Darren.
